Historical Background
THE
REVIVAL ASSEMBLY was founded in 1990 by Apostle Anselm Madubuko. The
inaugural service presided by the founding pastor was made up of very few
members. As it the way of the world, not many people gave this ministry
chance of survival. And to buttress this apathy was the location of the
ministry on an accursed property on Oritshe street in Ikeja, Lagos where
many organisations packed up or rather performed poorly. But God chose to
use this to establish His seal of glory and power on Revival Assembly and
His son, Apostle Anselm Madubuko. One of the evidence to show that the
finger of God was in planting of the church on the same spot was it's
flourishing element against all odds.
The Church then enjoyed three services on Sundays which necessitated the
speedy movement to the present site at 1-7 Revival close, cocoa industries Road,
Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos, in December, 1994. It has become a venue for God's Love,
anointing and Grace occasioned by seasoned, passionate praise and worship
and balanced teaching of the word. The auditorium has the capacity to sit
over 10, 000 people. We are a vibrant and increasingly growing church in the
heart of Lagos, Nigeria.
